The Dufferin Terrace

Just next to the Château Frontenac and at the foot of the Citadel of Quebec City, Dufferin Terrace, one of the city’s lookout points, offers an exceptional view of the St. Lawrence River and cities and towns that line the river’s southern shore. This long wooden terrace, where visitors can take advantage of the stupendous view, was named Dufferin at the end of the 19th century in honor of the Governor General of Canada at the time.

Notre-Dame-de-Québec Cathedral Basilica

Located in the heart of Old Quebec, the Notre-Dame-de-Québec Basilica-Cathedral has been designated as a National Historic Site by the government of Canada as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also the first parish church in North America.
