The Québec City Convention Center is hosting the International Arctic Change 2017 Conference from December 11 to 15, 2017.
The Arctic Change 2017 conference will bring together a large number of people who are committed to safeguarding arctic territories. Leading researchers, students, representatives of northern communities, government officials, and many others are coming together to find solutions to this eminent problem. Arctic experts will look at the challenges and opportunities that result from climate change.
The Arctic is undergoing unprecedented transformation, both in its terrestrial environment and its permafrost than its ice and marine environment. It is the continent most rapidly affected by climate change. National and international concerns prioritize the search for solutions to preserve these ecosystems, their populations and the important impacts on the whole planet.
The Arctic research community is inviting all stakeholders in Quebec City to Arctic Change 2017 where more than 1500 participants are expected, This is one of the largest international conferences on Arctic research ever held in Canada.
