Every June, comedy lovers enjoy a two-week festival of laughs — Comedi-Ha! – with humor of all kinds in theaters and outdoor venues. If you are staying with us at a time other than the festival, please have a look at the website to see the shows that are offered during your stay.
In the summer, the acrobats from Flip Fabrique come to town with their extraordinary combination of artistry and athleticism. The music, sets and most of all, the acrobatic dancers never fail to amaze and inspire. Quebec City offers numerous delightful events throughout the summer that are either free of charge or at a very reasonable fee. This is one of Quebec City’s free summer events and promises to be an evening well spent!
Rising stars and famous performers from over 22 countries gather for the Quebec City Summer Festival. Held at venues near Le Manoir d’Auteuil, this is a wonderful opportunity to hear major pop and rock stars and to enjoy the new sounds of up-and-coming performers.
The Fête de la Nouvelle-France commemorates the founding of New France in 1608 with a five-day program of exciting arts and entertainment within the walls of Old Quebec
Festibière de Québec is a huge festival that allows you to try a great variety of local microbrewery beers.

During the Christmas season, the Farmer’s Market is transformed into a magical Holiday Market. Local artisans, wineries and farmers sell crafts and gourmet treats. This is a wonderful place to shop for unique holiday gifts.
During the Holidays, Québec City is the perfect place for enchanting decor and enjoying many holiday festivities. The Quartier Petit Champlain is the ideal place to come and meet Santa and live the magic of Christmas. You will also find artists from Québec singing the best holiday classics throughout the city. Fireworks, a live DJ and a gigantic ferris wheel are there to ring in the New Year on la Grande-Allée.
For a unique experience, make sure you visit the German Christmas Market. Wooden kiosks, lights and animation for the kids are set up in front of the City Hall. Discover typical German food such as mulled wine, pretzels, bratwursts and many more! This event is also a great opportunity to find some unique gifts for your friends and loved ones!
Another great place for finding the perfect Christmas gift is at the Marché de Noël du Vieux-Port. Quebec City’s Farmer’s Market transforms into a Christmas Market where you are sure to find the perfect locally-made gift.

The Pentathlon des neiges de Québec is a unique sporting event held in the historical Plaines d’Abraham Park with snowshoeing, ice-skating, bicycling, running and cross-country skiing events. The fabulous cross country trails are five minutes from Le Manoir d’Auteuil.
Thousands gather in front of the Chateau Frontenac for premier snowboarding events, including World Cup, Big Air and Pro-Am Rail, plus a Jam for kids under 15 and snowboarding clinics for boys and girls.
This event will take place directly in the heart of the city. Two different competitions will take place; the Big Air World Cup, where the athletes will perform tricks from a 40 m high single jump. The Big Air Freeski is a new addition for this year’s Jamboree. During this competition, freestyle skiers will compete for the title of winner. You are in for a real party with DJs performing for your entertainment. A slope will be on site to allow young boys and girls (4-14 years old) to try snowboarding for the first time.
When in Québec City, you will soon discover that this city is rich in culture and performing arts.
There are many lovely theatre venues and concert halls throughout the city that truly radiate the charm of the city. From international artists, local artists, and street performers, you are sure to find something you love. Throughout the entire year, Quebec presents a constant stream of different plays, concerts and shows in many different venues. Le Capitole is the perfect spot if you are looking for events such as tributes to Elvis, Johnny Cash and many others, as well as featuring comedy shows and local artists.
For a more modern experience, you will definitely want to visit le Théatre de la Bordée in the Saint-Roch area, which features all sorts of plays.
Outdoor concerts are definitely part of Québec City’s charm in the summertime. This outdoor venue offers free shows from local artists from Québec.
The Opera of Quebec is definitely the place go for all the fans of Opera. All the shows are performed at Le Grand Théâtre.
Ex Machina is a company that reunites actors, writers, set designers, technicians, opera singers, pupeteers, and many other artists to create a unique experience. The creative team from Ex Machina believes that the performing arts, such as dance, opera and music should be mixed with recorded arts such as filmaking, video art and multimedia.
Imperial Bell is a charming venue located in the Saint-Roch area. This place features mostly musical shows from local artists.
Situated really close to the hotel on la Rue Saint-Jean, this petite theatre features plays, clowning & puppet shows geared towards youths.
Le Périscope is a theatre that specializes in creative theatre. It is known for its creative shows.
Le Théâtre Blanc produces contemporary and innovative theatre.
The Videotron Centre is the second largest arena in Quebec. It accommodates a great variety of different events such as sports events, concerts, circus shows, etc. This arena welcomes renowned international artists as well as local artists.
The Petit Théâtre de Québec is an intimate venue situated in the heart of the city. It is perfect for theatrical shows, small musicals and conferences, as well as comedy shows and films. It offers all the advantages of a big theatre, but in a small one.
La Maison Jaune is a multidisciplinary learning centre for all of those wishing to perfect their skills in visual arts, dance, theatre and singing. Everyone is welcome to participate in some of their classes or assist any performance.

The Festival of International music is making a comeback this year from November 3rd to the 6th. The festival will be presenting four different shows for its 19th edition.
The venues hosting this event are Le Monastère des Augustines, the Jésuites Chapel, the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Saint-Roch Church.
Various artists will be performing such as Maude Brunet, the musicians of Les Violons du Roy, Kawandak and Sioui, theSymphonic Orchestra of Quebec, Les Rhapsodes and finally Marie-Josée Lord.
