In honour of the 400th anniversary of Quebec City, this gorgeous fountain was installed at the center of the roundabout on Avenue Honoré-Mercier.
The fountain comes from Bordeaux in France, as commissioned by the mayor to celebrate their pairing.
The sculptures are the work of the famous artist Mathurin Moreau and features jets of water from the mouths of frogs, children holding hands, the gods Neptune and Acis, and goddesses Amphitrite and Galatea.

Enter through one of the three historic gates protecting the walked city of Old Quebec. L'Hôtel Manoir d'Auteuil is situated just inside the Gate entrance on the famous rue d'Auteuil street, at the bottom of St. Louis street. While beautiful by day, the gates are a sight to behold by night.

Not only do the Plains of Abraham offer cross-country ski trails, but a large ice skating rink as well. Skis, snowshoes and skates are all available to rent for a nominal charge at the Plains of Abraham, just a 10-minute walk from Le Manoir d'Auteuil.

Le Saint-Amour, the 5 Star Le Saint-Amour is located around the corner from the hotel. Under the direction of Chef Jean Luc Boulay, Le Saint-Amour is one of the premier restaurants in Old Quebec City.
Le Continental, another 5 Star dining experience offering fine French food that is cooked right in front of you for a unique gourmet experience.
Aux Anciens Canadiens is down the street from the hotel. It features authentic Quebec fare with an emphasis on game.
Les Frères De la Côte a French-inspired bistro that serves a variety of food from pizzas, steak, seafood, and tartar as well as a good selection of wines.
Le Hobbit a typical French neighbourhood bistro, excellent for lunch, dinner or even brunch.
Portofino is situated in a historical building from the 1760s, the Portofino bistro serves traditional Italian food.
Bello is an elegant Italian restaurant specialized in risotto, pizza, and pasta situated on Rue Saint-Louis just a couple of minutes away from the hotel.
Sapristi a casual Italian bistro, just down the hill from the hotel. Very reasonably priced and an excellent choice for a late arrival or light fare.
RestaurantsThe Parlaiment Hill
Perfectly located just within the ramparts of the Old City, Le Manoir d'Auteuil faces Parliament Hill and the Esplanade Park. Take a short walk from Le Manoir d'Auteuil and you will find yourself right in front of the Parliament.
There are bronze sculptures scattered throughout the gardens, as well as many monuments to Canadian Surveyors and the Acadians and Parliament Fountain.
SceneryParc de la Chute-Montmorency
Either drive, bike or take a tour to the beautiful Montmorency Falls. Known to be higher than those of Niagara, the Montmorency Park is beautiful and well worth a visit.
By car, it is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. By bike, a relaxing ride along the Saint Lawrence River will take about 45 minutes.

Take a stroll along the ramparts surrounding the walled city to enjoy the magnificent Old Quebec views. This historic site has preserved the only remaining fortified city walls in North America.
The wall surrounds most of Old Quebec and were refortified by the British after they took the city from the French in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.
The Ramparts of Quebec City were declared a World Heritage site in 1985 and a National Historic Site of Canada in 1948.

The Plains of Abraham offer a simple yet rewarding outdoor activity in a wonderful and historic 108-hectare setting. A picnic will leave you feeling mesmerized by the bucolic charm of a space just moments from the heart of Quebec City.
