Bed & Breakfast Package

Wake up each morning to the scent of freshly baked croissants!  Our mouthwatering croissants come out of the oven fresh each morning.  When you select the Bed and Breakfast package, please join us in our dining room from 07:30am – 10:30am and enjoy our continental breakfast.

Included in our delicious breakfast you will enjoy ou fresh buttery croissants or chocolatines, served with a yogurt parfait, delicious seasonal fruit, and cheese.  Coffee and tea are included and specialty espresso bar coffees are available at an additional cost.

One of our favourite things to do is to visit the farmer’s market, where we hand select the fresh fruit of summer, including berries grown in the Charlevoix region and the Isle d’Orleans.  Simple, fresh, and delicious!

As always, help yourself to complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate in our lounge and dining room throughout the day, open from 7 am to 10 pm.

The price for this package is $14.00 per person per night and includes one welcome house wine or beer on the evening of your arrival.

Artists Salon of Quebec

The 19th edition of the Salon des artisans de Québec will be held from Friday November 29th to Sunday December 8th, 2024 at the Center de foires de Québec.

It was in December 2005 that the first edition of the Salon des artisans de Québec took place.  Since its inception, the show has continued to grow at all levels. Over the years, this event has become an unmissable event for both visitors and exhibitors.

At the Salon des artisans de Québec, you will find under one roof various hand crafted items and unique works of art as well as many agro-food products from the Quebec region. Particular attention is paid to the quality, diversity and originality of the products offered.

The 2024 Salon international du livre de Québec

The 2024 Salon international du livre de Québec (SILQ), presented by Radio-Canada and Le Soleil from April 10 to 14 at the Québec City Convention Centre, sets the stage for an adventure at the heart of literature and the authors who make it shine. Major interviews, interviews, book signings, workshops and activities will bring literary works to life in all their forms during this unmissable cultural event, where words and talent from here and elsewhere will reach young and old readers eager for discoveries and exciting encounters.

The SILQ will welcome more than 1000 authors, including Yves Beauchemin, Janette Bertrand, Kevin Lambert, Robert Lalonde, India Desjardins, Simon Boulerice, Léa Clermont-Dion and Stanley Péan. It will also welcome several well-known public figures, including Valérie Plante, Mayor of Montréal, Catherine Dorion, Louise Harel, Jean-François Lépine, Grégory Charles and Zachary Richard.
Québec City’s flagship event for more than 50 years, the Salon international du livre de Québec 2024 will take place under the theme Engaging in Transformation, an exploration at the heart of the theme of change and the necessary adaptation that everyone faces at one time or another.

This is truly a Manoir favourite and has been for years.  Located at the Quai 400ième, these talented artists showcase their numerous high quality crafts and food items under open tents.  The event typically takes place in July and August.  This is a must see event.

Carrefour international de théâtre

Each spring, the Carrefour international de théâtre presents an electrifying festival in Québec City. Showcasing the best in innovative theatre from Canada and around the world, the event serves as both a crossroads where audiences can discover, discuss and express themselves, and a celebration of theatre and contemporary creativity.

Most of the activities and scenes are outdoors and take place in the nooks and crannies of the city.  This event is not only entertaining for all participants, but a great way to explore some of the spaces few visit in the heart of the Quebec City.

Pentathlon des Neiges de Québec

(February 14 to 23, 2025)

The Pentathlon des neiges takes place on the Plains of Abraham, in the heart of Old Québec and just a short walk from the Manoir d’Auteuil: cycling, running, cross-country skiing, skating and snowshoeing.

This event is perfect families, friends, colleagues or athletes. Whether here as a participant or spectator, enjoy all that Quebec City offers during the winter season, with access to 11 km of cross country ski trails and outdoor ice skating rinks all in a thriving urban setting.

Quebec City Summer Festival

Every year, Quebec City celebrates music in this extraordinary international music festival.  In fact, this is perhaps Canada’s most important music festival.  Bands from around the world come to entertain on three main stages along with smaller intimate venues throughout the Old City.  From contemporary pop and rock, to country, folk and even techno, every genre is presented.  Historically, greats such as the Rolling Stones, Green Day, Lady Gaga have performed during this must see festival.  The pricing is very reasonable.  Typically a 10 day pass costs around 160$ and gives unlimited access to all of the venues for the pass holder.  Between concerts and venues, street performers similar to those seen in this photo will enchant and entertain you as well.  Tickets go on sale every March, and the festival takes place in July annually.  Purchase your tickets in advance, as they do sell out!  To see this year’s line up, be sure to visit the Festival d’Été official site!

Parc Jacques Cartier

Whether you choose to rent a bike or bring your own, Parc Jacques Cartier is a beautiful spot to spend the day biking. The Park is located about 25 minutes from the hotel by car and is open all year long for outdoor activities, summer and winter alike. In the summer, you can rent kayaks and canoes at the park. During the winter, trails are open for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing alike.

The Port of Quebec

The port of Quebec is popular for its cruise terminals as well as the other activities it has to offer. From biking trails, green spaces, parks and many other great activities, you will thoroughly enjoy discovering this part of the city.

A beautiful site to see, especially overlooking the Terrace Dufferin just in front of the Chateau Frontenac! Cruise season in Québec City is really spectacular with all the magnificient ships docked in the port just next to the oldest walled city in North America. The Terrasse Pierre-Dugua-de-Mons which is situated in the Bastion-de-la-Reine park offers an absolutely lovely view of the city, and probably the best view of the ships during cruise season.

Why not plan an afternoon or evening on the Saint Lawerence River, feeling the cool breeze in the summer air on board le Louis-Jolliet. The guided tour of the river, as you see the view from the water of the Old City, the Isle d’Orleans and Montmorency Falls. You will see a nice overview of the region, which will certainly tempt you to venture on your own to those fabulous sites and discover them further. This tour is a perfect combination of nature and culture. During this tour you will discover the history of Québec city and its surroundings. The cruise starts at Cap Diamant and will end near the beautiful Montmorency Falls.

If you are a photography buff, we certainly recommend a late night ferry ride across the river to the town of Levis. The views of Old Quebec by night are nothing short of breathtaking. Definitely worth a toast while crossing the river!

The Royal 22e Régiment Band is proud to celebrate its 100 years of existence, proud of its accomplishments, proud of the recognition it has received throughout the world and, above all, proud of its members who, over the years, have made the most significant tunes in its history resound and thrilled the various audiences who have attended its performances. The exhibition Au rythme de la Musique du Royal 22e Régiment raises the curtain on this unit of musicians founded in 1922.

Rue Sous Le Fort

Take a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and you will find yourself surrounded by the charm and beauty of the Petit Champlain neighborhood in Old Quebec.  This is the oldest part of Old Quebec. Be sure to visit the Eglise de Notre Dame des Victoires, the original church situated in Place Royale.

Don’t miss the artists on Rue du Tresor! As you meander throught the streets of Old Quebec, you will eventually stumble onto Rue du Tresor. Also known as “Art Alley”, this famous little street is lined with paintings as local artists showcase their work. Esplanade Park

This charming little Esplanade Park is located in the heart of Old Quebec. It is nestled just between the gates Saint-Louis and Saint-Jean in a heritage site located in front of the Hotel Manoir d’Auteuil. The park is a place where you can traipse, stroll, take a walk, sit and relax to admire the view even in winter when the park is covered with its white coat. Magnificent photos can be taken in this enchanting setting.

The Story

In this historic and unusual place in Québec City, you can see an old gunpowder house dating from the ninth century. And up d’Auteuil Street, which is very close, are the Porte Saint-Louis and the horse-drawn carriage rides through Old Quebec. And going down d’Auteuil Street, you will arrive at the Saint-Jean gates and you will come across the renowned Saint-Jean Street, with its famous restaurants, pubs, and boutiques.

Works of Art and Monuments

In Esplanade Park, you will have the opportunity to view several monuments as well as a work of art. Among the most eye-catching monuments, you have the monument of the heroes of the Boer War, as well as the alley of the poets with its monument dedicated to the great poet of the 20th century, Mr. Emile Nelligan. This monument is also adjacent to the monument of playwright and poet, Alexander Pushkin, as well as some other famous poets of different nationalities. Enter through one of the three historic gates protecting the walked city of Old Quebec. L’Hôtel Manoir d’Auteuil is situated just inside the Gate entrance on the famous rue d’Auteuil street, at the bottom of St. Louis street. While beautiful by day, the gates are a sight to behold by night.

The Hotel Manoir d’Auteuil is located just a short walk from the famous Chateau Frontenac and Dufferin Terrace. The Terrace overlooks the Saint Lawrence River and is a lovely spot to watch the cruise ships come in to port.
