The Salon du livre de Québec is an important cultural event in the city, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate French-language literature and discover the new literary releases of the year.
In conjunction with the Salon du livre de Québec, you can participate in some presentations featuring famous authors at: Auteur.e Studio at the Théâtre le Capitole.

View Dance Challenge
On April 20 to 23, 2023, the Quebec City Convention Center is hosting a major national dance competition: the View Dance Challenge.
The View Dance Challenge Tour is visiting major Canadian cities throughout the year. For the dance lover, more than 750 dance routines of various styles will be presented in front of the public during the 4 days of the competition.
Carrefour Forêts 2023
April 25 to 27, 2023 the Quebec City Convention Center welcomes Carrefour Forêt 2023. The theme of the event is “Knowledge, Adapt, Moving forward”. Carrefour Forêt 2023 is organized by the Government of Quebec’s Forestry Ministry, de la Faune et des Parcs.
The program: seminars, workshops, training and field visits.

Rendez-vous Canada, a major gathering in the tourism industry in Canada will take place at the Quebec City Convention Center this spring from May 30 to June 2, 2023. Rendez-vous Canada showcases the best destinations in the country and brings together major players in the field of international tourism.
After a 3-year pause due to the pandemic, the salon comes back to its original form where vendors present their businesses behind their stands. Interesting and rich professional meetings are to be expected!
This event, which promotes Canada, is presented by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) and Destination Canada.
Quebec RE3 2023 Conference
On June 11 to 15, 2023, the Quebec City Convention Center is hosting an international conference on environmental management, Quebec RE3 conference. This event allows participants to learn more about the latest developments in the rehabilitation, restoration and rewilding of various ecosystems.
The 2023 edition theme is ” From Reclaiming to Restoring and Rewilding”. Let’s not forget, a key part in reclaiming is eliminating single use plastics, so please bring your re-usable beverage containers to avoid those plastic bottles.

The International Congress on Academic Medicine 2023 (ICAM 2023)
On April 12 to 18, 2023, the Quebec City Convention Center is hosting the International Congress on Academic Medicine (ICAM). This is a conference on medical education and one of the leading conferences in this field in Canada. A major annual gathering of medical educators.

The Fluorine chemistry
From July 23 to 28, 2023, two international conferences on fluorine chemistry will be held jointly at the Quebec City Convention Center: 23rd Int’l Symposium on Fluorine Chemistry & 9th Int’l Symposium on Fluorous Technologies (23rd ISFC and ISoFT’23).
At least 85% of participants are from outside North America. This will be the perfect opportunity for conference goers to visit Quebec City and discover the major attractions of Quebec City and its surroundings. I can’t think of a better place to combine business with a little bit of pleasure.
Interesting fact is that these two symposiums are held jointly every six years and will take place in eastern North America for the first time.
