The Québec City Convention Centre
Located in the heart of Québec City and at Old Québec’s doorstep, the Convention Centre has been in existence since 1996. Just in the past 12 months, the Convention Centre has hosted 54 events, generating some $30 million in economic activity for the city.
The Convention Centre is located right in the heart of a dynamic and charming quarter full of history, just few blocks away from the Manoir d’Auteuil. For a business or government executive that has elected the Manoir as their place of residence during their sojourn in Québec City, this choice translates into a lot of convenience for attending conventions, trade shows and meetings during their stay.
One of Canada’s top convention centres
In 2014, an additional $36 million were invested to upgrade the centre and increase the capacity with 73,000 square feet of additional space. Every year over 200,000 visitors from around the world attend an event at the Convention Centre.
The President and CEO of the Convention Center P.-Michel Bouchard said that the beauty of Québec City and the warmth of its people are what make this convention centre stand apart from similar centres in other major cities.
The 294,290 square-foot facility can handle events hosting large groups up to 4,000 persons.
Free high-speed wireless Internet access is available everywhere within the LEED certified building.
